MARK CORBETT
Elected: AGM 2005
Role: Trust Oldham Social / Membership Director
Interest and Hobbies: Several sports, especially football, cricket and rugby league. Travel, real ale and nights out on the lash!
First Ever Latics Game: 25th August 1986, it was the first home game of the season v Barnsley and I don't think I missed another one all season.
Most Memorable Game Attended: Sheffield Wednesday at home, May 1991, the day we clinched the old 2nd division title. We were already promoted so it ought not to have seemed such a big deal. But the way it all unfolded, and being on the back of two such incredible seasons, it was just an unbelievable day.
Favourite All Time Latics Player: Roger Palmer. He was a good 'un but certainly not the best player we've had in my time. But the way he scored his goals, ghosting in unnoticed and always at a vital time, made him a bit of a hero of mine. And above all it was probably that aura and mystique about him that made him my favourite.
Favourite All Time Manager: In my time it can only be Joe Royle. The football and the atmosphere at games were fantastic during his reign, not to mention the level of success we enjoyed. And he always comes across a nice bloke!
